About Bridge the Gap Ohio
Bridge The Gap Ohio has been created and sponsored by the County Engineer’s Association of Ohio with the hope that it will call attention to the needs of County Engineers with respect to the roads and bridges they maintain. Dwindling funding sources and increases in infrastructure needs force Ohio’s County Engineers to walk a fine line between meeting Ohioans’ transportation needs and the demand for more county infrastructure.
This website aims to educate the traveling public, as well as our elected lawmakers, on the needs of our County Engineers. Without an increase in funding, County Engineers may one day be unable to meet their current infrastructure responsibilities. As this is a reality no one wants, we ask those who visit this site to write to their elected lawmakers and ask for additional funding for their respective County Engineers.
